[GIFTED] Stickerscape Christmas Range - Review & Giveaway

It's official - the Christmas decorations have started to go up in our house and I'm ridiculously excited about it! The boys seem to have inherited my love of the festive season so of course they've been desperate to help out. If you've ever tried decorating with kids then you'll know that it's a bit of a challenge (to say the least!) so this year I came up with the genius idea of giving them their own decorations to put up - a set of fun, festive, reusable window stickers!

I'd never actually used window stickers before because the only ones I've ever been able to find in the shops have all been a bit dull and dated looking, but the brand new range of festive designs from Stickerscape are anything but boring!

Stickerscape's 2019 Christmas collection is bang on trend with a huge range of window sticker designs to suit all tastes and decors. From delicate, understated snowflakes to bright, bold, colourful characters, there's something for everyone! The stickers come in different sizes too, so you can choose to either keep things subtle or really make a statement.

Since the boys were going to be decorating the window in their playroom, I let them choose the design themselves. After a lot of deliberation, they decided to go for the Santa Snow Globe Scene (RRP: £7.45) which features a big Santa and Rudolph window sticker, as well as a selection of smaller Christmas trees and snowflakes.

The set arrived beautifully packaged in tissue paper and a starry cardboard box. Not only was it great to receive our order in plastic-free packaging, but it also meant that the stickers were delivered in perfect condition, all ready for decorating.

It didn't take long for the boys to work out what to do next - within moments of opening the box, they were asking to peel the stickers off of the sheets and trying to decide where to put them!

Putting the snowglobe scene together was super easy. All we had to do was make sure that the window surface was clean and dry then carefully apply the stickers. The instructions do say that they should ideally be applied by an adult but since the stickers are so safe and simple to use, I was more than happy for the boys to lend a hand.

To apply each window sticker, we had to slowly peel it away from the backing paper whilst making sure that it stayed clean and didn't fold back on itself. They're really durable so this process was pretty straightforward!

Next, we simply stuck each one to the inside of the window (it's probably worth mentioning that these aren't for external use!) The larger stickers needed to be pressed down to prevent air bubbles, but the smaller ones just went straight on.

The stickers are quite thick and slightly textured, which made it really easy for the boys to peel them off and re-position them with hardly any help from me. Not only was this handy when they couldn't decide where to place the Christmas trees (should they be in the middle of the scene or at the sides?!) but it's also reassured me that it won't be a pain to remove them when it's time to take the decorations down!

The other thing I noticed when we were moving the window stickers around was that they didn't leave any sticky marks behind on the glass! Obviously this is great news for the windows (and my stress levels!) but since the stickers are reusable, it's also great to know that they won't lose their stick before we've had the chance to use them again.

I can definitely see us using our Christmas window stickers year after year, but I've just got to remember to keep hold of the backing sheet so that they can be stored safely ready for next time!

Putting up the Christmas window stickers was such a fun little activity for the boys and I genuinely really enjoyed helping them to do it. Decorating together can be seriously stressful but because the stickers were so easy to apply, there was no danger of them getting frustrated or distracted from the task in hand.

I think it's safe to say that the boys are happy with their newly decorated playroom window! Using the Stickerscape window stickers was such a quick and easy way to add a touch of festive sparkle and, best of all, it gave the boys an opportunity get creative with their own little space in our home.
